Women who Love too Much Community Group
WHEN BEING IN LOVE, MEANS BEING IN PAIN... This group is to help women through the journey of realizing they can love themselves. To help realize that they are capable of having a happy, healthy, whole relationship and break the cycle of abuse and heartache from loving emotionally unavailable men.
It sounds like he is either asexual or possibly gay (and doesn't want to admit it).
That has nothing to do with you!
I don't think this guy will ever have a successful relationship with a woman. Just based on the facts.
It's much better to not be in a relationship and have dignity. Not being in a relationship doesn't mean you are 'alone'. A lot of us feel like being single means we are alone but we are not. We may not have a romantic relationship but we have friends we trust and sometimes family members we trust (not always). It is sad to start something and have it not work out. Hugs to you. It's ok to be disappointed and to grieve. Give your self some time. Take care of yourself this coming week. Plan a hot bath or a walk in nature. Something you think will help you feel good. Best wishes x
Still recovering, still a long way to go.
You said you compromised for him because you thought that he would stay. Maybe his reflecting that to you.
You think you are not good enough for him and that he's compromising.
The strength of somebody to keep you or make you want a relationship and not a weakness that signifies a long term relationship for you. I think that a better approach.
We all deserve so much better, yet old habits are hard to break. I am almost finished reading the "Book"
and it seems in every chapter I can see myself (and I do not like what I see) but I am not blaming myself,
I am getting emotionally healthier, but I have a long way to go…
My thoughts and prayers are with you..
