Wow that is Karmic truly Dracona !!! Awful but Karmic. It's like my N husband who has had a bad heart ever since I knew him, deciding only after he raped my soul painfully, bit by cruel bit, to have his surgery and then as he says (?) to be discharged without medical benefits from his beloved service career.The career so inexorably tied up to his huge ego that he cant function without, the one he arrrogantly and cruelly put above everyone and everything to get his promotions and recognition'!!!!! Well he didnt care if I was alive or dead after he cheated on me and abused me and left me on the floor, & considering he never showed me his ' heart ' and his love and his compassion in our relationship, I guess what's happened/happening to him healthwise and jobwise, that too is Karma. No doubt you other ladies will have similar things to relate about your N or abuser getting his Karmic come-uppance. There is only one Higher Power, and it is not them, its God. Men that do not take care of their children are bottom feeders. I believe karma is a woman and she is a bitch. I'm proud of you Dracona for staying strong for your children. Many of us did not have parents that were there for us and that is exactly why we are where we are at. It takes a strong person to say that it stops here and I won't do those things to my children. My kids are and always will be first.

i agree.... the narc in my life doesn't work cause he doesn't want to pay child support... he tries to get me to feel sorry for him but i don't i told him i feel sorry for his son... ick why did i continue to see him once i found out he is a horrible father... ?? karma is a woman and she is a bitch lol that is perfect... the only thing is about karma - if i stick with the narc and continue to let him suck my good energy and keep isolating from people and the world then Karma will bite me in the ass eventually also... so if I want good Karma I need to get back to my roots of loving, kindness, helpfulness, positive attitude, laughter, smiling, hugging etc... if i stay in this rut of sad, negative blahness that is all i will get... it is my choice I am chosing life, a good good life.

He pulls the "feel sorry for me" thing too. like i should be thinking about him, and not my daughter. its quite ridiculous. and i should make sure he can pay all his bills first, before he pays me and that it should all be on his terms. its a bunch of poop. i actually laughed when i heard about his accident. not that i meant to or wish harm upon anyone. but maybe he will be a bit more humble our next conversation. he has led a life as if he was single, cept the chld support paid. new cars. girlfriends. new everything. while i struggle to find a sitter half the time while attending college.... what do i get? i get oh, you shouldnt be going to college, u should be spending time with your daughter, you need a better job... but people run to his rescue... oh, he was just scared. you should encourage him to see her, its your fault your kid doesnt have a dad.
im so tired of it. i will not put it up with his crap. i will not coddle him. and i will not believe that me going to college right now, in spite of the time i spend away from my daughter, is not ultimately the best thing for us.
