SO here it comes, Christmas I mean.
Its a funny time for me, one of sadness at not sharing Christmas morning with my childen anymore but one of happy times when we can all relax and have some time to laugh a little together.

I appreciate that my parents are nearer now and I get to spend some time with them now.

but for me Christmas and New Year is a time to reflect on whats happened since last Christmas and make goals for the coming year. Its a milestone.

so where am I this year.?
Im really not sure. I do know that one way or another I will not be in this same place in my life next Christmas.

so what do you wish for?

I send you all peace and laughter…,and a hug as always.
I also thank everyone who has tried to help me and guide me on this years journey together….im not sure if I have got far, but I am further than I was last Christmas, on the road to enlightenment!

this year i'm going to keep a joy jar. literally a big glass jar with a screw on lid. and every time something cool or wonderful or memorable or enjoyable happens i'm going to write it down and stick it in the jar. then next new years i will open my jar and read all of the good things and blessings that have come my way over th year to reflect on the goodness that happens that can easily get overshadowed for me….

note to self: get to cost plus and get a jar!!

my wish is for willingness to move on some issues i have.

it's easy for me to forget the good stuff..not only do i have to stop and write it down i can relish in it!!

also i thought anytime i feel down i can open the jar and read i guess i don't have to wait until the next new years?!

it's easy to stay focused on negative stuff when life's lessons are hard and like we said in the other post, repeated until we get it!!

Finn, what a fabulous idea!! I think I am going to do that too and have my mother and sister join me in it. Maybe go out and get them joy jars for Christmas. They are the type of people that really let the negative affect them, my mother even went as far as to tell me that if she was a better parent my life would be better, but she doesn't realize my life is GREAT! I have a beautiful, healthy son, great job, roof over my head, great friends. the one thing I don't have is a man in my life but that's ok. Men come and go and i have decided not to let it define me. I have faith that i will meet someone wonderful.
