Women who Love too Much Community Group
WHEN BEING IN LOVE, MEANS BEING IN PAIN... This group is to help women through the journey of realizing they can love themselves. To help realize that they are capable of having a happy, healthy, whole relationship and break the cycle of abuse and heartache from loving emotionally unavailable men.
Going to a tea house sounds great but there are not any in my area. So today I grabbed some movies out of the red-box and chilled. Do what you can when you can and don't worry about the rest.
second of all i'm so happy to hear you are feeling pretty good today....
and i was wondering if you wouldn't mind repeating the health part?? i seemed to have missed that??
chronic fatigue?? withdrawing from psych drugs?? depression? b/c i have been there too and that makes your progress with no contact AMAZING!!!
Thanks Izzy. Yeah this is the first tea house we here. It was so quaint! I agree with you about doing what I can and not worrying about the rest. She was so adamant, though. It kind of scared me. I have developed back problems and according to a chiropractor worsened spinal fusion for being in bed more often than not for over a year now waiting to heal and it's not happening...so I thought maybe she's right and I need to force myself as much as I can.
I like your movie night. I actually have an assignment from my therapist to schedule things like that for myself over the weekend because my son is going out of town and I'm anxious about being alone for the holiday weekend. That's when I often get to thinking that everyone else is having a great time with others but me. :P So I need to schedule some things for the little kid in me to do, too.
Thanks for the encouragement, finn. Yeah I had some really bad experiences with psyche drugs and have been weaning off of them for over a year now and I think I have protracted withdrawal syndrome or something. I also have some kind of extreme exhaustion problem where I have barely any energy and I can hardly get out of bed and it's extremely difficult to motivate myself to do anything.
That's one thing about my unstable relationship is the excitement really got me out of bed and into the land of the living, that is, until things turned ugly again. Then it was just negative. I think an adrenalin boost is partially responsible for getting me up and going (WWLTM are often depressed; being in an ustable/upsetting relationship is like "whipping a poor tired horse to get a few more miles out of it?") but I think, too, just feeling close to somebody and hopeful about the future was encouraging. Not to mention all the touch. :)
