Women who Love too Much Community Group
WHEN BEING IN LOVE, MEANS BEING IN PAIN... This group is to help women through the journey of realizing they can love themselves. To help realize that they are capable of having a happy, healthy, whole relationship and break the cycle of abuse and heartache from loving emotionally unavailable men.
1. I am alive
2. I have a roof over my head (barely) and food on the table (most of the time)
3. My kids and granddaughter are healthy, oh and me too
4. I have a dependable car that is paid for
5. I have prayer
6. I have hope
7. I have a great job with health benefits
8. DS (Daily Strength(
9. I have family and friends who love and support me
10. I have survived the hardest year of my life and can now smile and appreciate my life
11. God who really should have been at the top of my list!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am truly blessed and grateful for everything I have. Thank you for the reminder~
1. Grateful to be alive, in good health and with enough money not to have to stress about paying bills.
2. Grateful for family and friends.
3. Grateful to be a person who is sensitive to beauty -- in people, in the natural world, in actions, in art, in music, in thought......
4. Grateful to be born an optimist.
5. Grateful to have come through the past two years (esp. the past year) feeling stronger!
6. Grateful to have a roof over my head that belongs to me.
7. Grateful to live in Canada, where things aren't perfect but are a helluva lot better than in many other places!
8. Grateful there is still public healthcare.
9. Grateful to have been born a woman today (as opposed to, say, 500 years ago).
10. Grateful to have all my teeth!!!
There is much more (once I get going, it's hard to stop) but I'll leave it at that... One of my favourite lines in a song is, "This life is wonderful. Don't be proud because you have it. It comes from God!"
My list:
1. I'm thankful for my hair. I know that sounds vain, but I am thankful for it. I've had some pretty bad hair periods in my life and right now my hair--even though I dye the gray out--looks pretty good.
2. Today I needed to go pee so bad as I was leaving work but I was in a hurry and decided to wait until I got to my first after-work errand place. As I rushed to the loo and finally sat down I felt so friggin' thankful, you know. Call it deprivation therapy if you want but it made me pretty grateful.
3. I'm thankful for my two gorgeous kitties who are still in good health, chasing after illusionary mice in our house (they are practicing, I guess, for the big moment when one might appear)
5. I am thankful -- oh G-d I am so thankful my heart could burst -- for my beautiful children. They were beautiful babies and now they are beautiful big, almost grown-up people. I love them so much.
6. I am thankful for all of you beautiful women here on this site. You inspire me daily and give me strength, you ground me and focus me.
Love to all of you!
