Women who Love too Much Community Group
WHEN BEING IN LOVE, MEANS BEING IN PAIN... This group is to help women through the journey of realizing they can love themselves. To help realize that they are capable of having a happy, healthy, whole relationship and break the cycle of abuse and heartache from loving emotionally unavailable men.

Well, it's almost three months since I last saw him and spoke to him, when he stormed out giving me a hail of verbal abuse. If people remember I had foolishly let him come back and stay after his new woman had thrown him out following only one incident of verbal abuse to her. He'd originally left my house just before Christmas saying he was going to lodge with this new female friend. It turned out of course, that this was a lie and he had, in fact, been visiting her for sex for weeks before he moved there - he'd only met her in October. I know now he was only waiting to find somewhere else to go before he would leave me. Then, after she'd thrown him out she befriended me on Facebook and asked lots of questions about him. He then read my facebook messages when I was out one evening and he went ballistic at me, not at her, and blamed me for everything wrong in his life (which he'd done many times before when we were together, particularly when drunk) and that's when he left, first to his mum's and then pretending to be homeless and sleeping in a tent, which made lots of people feel sorry for him. He had, however, only camped for two days and his woman had taken him back. I've mentioned here many times all the horrible abusive, threatening texts and calls I received from him. I shared these with her, thinking she was still friends with me and adamant not to take him back and because some of the messages were also really abusive towards her. I hadn't realised she was also complicit in his lies. It was then she started telling me to cut the cords with him and do a visualisation for this. What a fool they both must have thought I was.
Anyway, a few weeks later he moved a few hundred miles away to stay with his best friend, but him and his woman are still supposedly madly in love, she's the love of his life and the other day they were excited about going on holiday together. He's texted me a few times but I've not replied. And, despite being desperate to contact him so many times over the weeks, as I've recorded here, I've managed to maintain No Contact. It's getting easier - honestly. I miss him every day. I miss coming home from work to an empty house and having no one to go through my day with or eat with. There are so many things I want to talk to him about. But I've not and each day I'm getting stronger and I'm missing him less. I know I'm a long way to being over him and an even longer way from being cured of my codependency issues, but I am getting there. So if I can do it, any of you can. Stick in there you lovely women. We'll all get there. Much love to you all.

Congrats Linnda!! That's great you have still maintained no contact. What's the use when you know it won't have a Happy Ending for you? That's what I think about. If I wanted to reach out to him, what exactly would I get from it. Would it make me happy? Is he finally going to listen to me? Nope. Probably not. Use it against me somehow. Today actually is my 3 month NC, realized it a few days ago, knew it was coming around but have gotten lost in the days. Lately as you've seen in my journals tho it's been harder not to contact him. Got to keep my guards up. Karma can be a B*tch and I am a patient person. I know he'll get his when it's his time. Some of the stuff I went thru is in my journals if you haven't already seen what I went thru. More covert abuse than I care to get into especially today. I just keep looking at my journal here and the Shirt journal of stuff he's done or said and that keeps me angry enough. Glad you are coming along. I know it's still a struggle but we will all get thru this. :)

I think there's a tendency to want to reconnect once the trauma starts wearing off. that's why I sent him a pretty terse email when I left. not for his benefit but for mine. I never want to forget how callously that bastard tossed me aside and then had the audacity to consider himself my friend. douche bag.
