Women who Love too Much Community Group
WHEN BEING IN LOVE, MEANS BEING IN PAIN... This group is to help women through the journey of realizing they can love themselves. To help realize that they are capable of having a happy, healthy, whole relationship and break the cycle of abuse and heartache from loving emotionally unavailable men.
If he desperately needed them I would have heard from him.
I did we'll like you the first couple of weeks was a doddle...however now it's been a couple of months it has became really difficult ,not sure why ???
Your on the right tracks ..keep going my friend xxxxx
Mt ex left his stuff in my garage for months - even while he was in a relationship with someone new. It was torture! I finally got strong enough and gave him a deadline to get it out. I refused to be there when he was there. Anyway, once I set the deadline he lost his mind - even more so because my only response to his antics was - "get your stuff by the deadline or I will sell it". It was hard, but I should have done it sooner. After a little more whining on his part he got it. Anyway, he left his expensive sunglasses in the garage after he picked up everything else. This was his lame attempt at trying to get me to contact him. He did not hear from me - but I made a nice little profit on his glasses on e-bay :-).
Anyway - in my opinion I would not contact him in any way to get his stuff. It will start a problem. Mail it to him or throw it away. You have to make a clean break. If he left things there it is because he they are not important to him or he wants a reason to contact you at his leisure. Take control away from him, get rid of it one way or another and then you can truly be in NC. You can't be in NC mentally if you keep seeing his stuff or even know it is in your home. Take his last link to you away. You owe that to yourself!! If he tries to contact you after he receives the items IGNORE HIM. You did not invite him in by giving him his stuff. You are telling him and yourself you are DONE!!
Much Love!
