Women who Love too Much Community Group
WHEN BEING IN LOVE, MEANS BEING IN PAIN... This group is to help women through the journey of realizing they can love themselves. To help realize that they are capable of having a happy, healthy, whole relationship and break the cycle of abuse and heartache from loving emotionally unavailable men.
I read it before in 'Why Does He Do That' (the book that helped me the most so far)...it's an eye opener and every time I read it, it makes me furious. I need to keep periodically coming back and re-reading it. So thanks!
Hi, goingup. That was exactly my reaction! I got so mad, I had to stop reading for a minute. I think I'm so used to feeling sorry for him and thinking he acts the way he does because he's hurting and it's just a dysfunctional reaction to childhood abuse or something like that, when actually it's pretty darn functional and it turns out it has a lot of benefits. Wow. >:{
Haha! I swear I almost said that in my last post. The last sentence before I erased it was, "I feel like I want to puke!" It isn't really funny but it is validating to hear I'm not the only one who feels that way.
