who has adopted kids?
i have decided several years ago that i don't want to have my own. even when i was a kid I told mom that when i grow up i will adopt. there's so many orphans and kids taken from bad homes out there. if i were rich like Angelina jolie, i'd provide all kinds for those kids.
my reason for not having biological kids is mostly because of my back injury, fibromyalgia, and fibro-cyctic breast disease (way too painful), aside from the reason i gave above.
anyone else here, decide to not (or can't) have their own kids? why?

I'm going to be a foster parent, I've wanted to be a foster parent ever since I was a child.

awesome! if you get a foster kid before i do (or before i adopt) let me know how it goes and what's to be expected or how hard is the process and all that info! thanks!

I knew of a friend who was into foster care for kids. She was a foster parent to a baby girl for awhile and then her and her husband decided to adopt her. The baby was from a drug addict mom and was never going back to her. Things turned out fine and she has grown to be a very happy and healthy girl. I would also go for adoption, there are so many children out there who needs a loving home.

i am engaged to be married soon. i think im too old for children but my soulmate isnt. There are so many children without good homes we will adopt. Id like to know more about it. i have dementia. thyroid trouble, CPOD, seizures. i dont want to pass that on to my daughters.
