Hi everyone, I have been with my police officer for almost a year now. He started working as a police officer about four months ago. He loves his job and I get so much joy from seeing him beam when he talks about how much he enjoys being in the line of duty. However, its been really difficult. I have learned to be patient with time and know its precious. He works nights now and works 70+ hours a week. With our schedules being so mixed I never get to speak with him anymore or see him. I sometimes think hes not putting in the effort to communicate. He tells me frequently he is stressed. But some days I never get a text or phone call. Is this normal? if so how do you deal with it? communication is all we have and I feel like its failing.... please help!
