Living with an aging black out drunk is bad enough, but how many of you get frustrated because your AH can't remember ANYTHING? Even simple things like a movie we just watched and he wants to watch it again two nights later. I tell him we just watched that movie 2 nights ago and he staunchly disagrees like I am crazy.

The blackouts are bad enough, but when he gets angry and vehemently declares this or that never happened because he can't remember it so that means IT NEVER HAPPENED is infuriating. We truly are living alone and experiencing things alone because our SOs don't remember anything. We ALONE carry a memory that was supposedly shared by BOTH OF US.
