Although it is a very sad thing to watch the intellectual decline of my husband... It is so very annoying.
He is trying to buy a tee shirt from some veterans site. ( btw.... The whole veteran thing is getting to me, he covers my car with stupid army stickers, for goodness sake he was discharged in 1975. Besides he drives a cool mustang convertible that he would never put stickers on ) any way back to his technical skills. He has NONE. He used to have a lap top my sons bought for him. All he did was complain about it because he kept f***ing it up. He would become enraged when updates occurred and he had to readjust. When that thing finally was so viral ridden we got him an iPad. I have one and it couldn't be easier to use. Well..... It's about 3 years later and he STILL cannot figure it out. So any way he tries to order this shirt, then orders it a second time but then cancels one of the orders but then somehow " the bank " refused his order..... Oh dear God in heaven .... The drama, wailing and gnashing of teeth. I said " so just order it again" that took another 30 minutes!!!!! All the while saying how he wished he had a laptop. I was not involved as this drama was unfolding, I just had to listen to the story at the end. And even that was too much. I did snap one time and told him to just buy a laptop and quit complaining.
It's a shame to destroy the gift of your intellect by turning your brain into pudding with drugs and alcohol.

The worst part of my life now is a radio show he is obsessed with. He listens to them every day (Opie and Anthony, et al) and will only take what they say seriously. For instance, I am ravenous for new stuff to learn, history, politics, etc. So I will mention a documentary that he would like or a site he should check out and he blows me off completely. Then, if Opie and Anthony mention the exact documentary, site, etc. he will mention it to me and be all excited about it. Totally forgetting me telling him about the same thing earlier which he staunchly denies ever hearing me say.
Boy does he get mad when I make a crack like "are you hungry? what do you think Opie and Anthony would recommend we eat?" OOOOO, gets pissed and I laugh in his face. What a dork.
