Today my husband took off work. I came home to find him intoxicated. I got pissed off again reflecting on how he just doesn't give a shit. Never mind in February that the cops found him on the side of the road passed out and had to go get his ass at the hospital. Anyway, I have been having this thought about what would happen if he didn't make it or what if something happened to me. I have been struggling with my weight my whole life and recently I was considering weightloss surgery but my insurance company doesn't pay for it. I am just worried for our daughter. He's not going to change and someone needs to be healthy for my daughter.
All we can do is focus on our own health and that of our children (if we were blessed to have any).
Time is the biggest challenge for 'exercise regime & like most of us working stiffs life is way to hectic to 'go to the gym' and because of our AH we have no money to spend on ourselves for this type of indulgence so i've just started to keep moving - when i brush my teeth i am marching in place. when i am washing dishes i am bending sideways. when i am putting on shoes i am touching toes. that is all i can do as far as 'work out'
every little bit helps right .
perhaps you and your daughter can find a way to have quality time together and put a bit of walking or playing in your week :)
2Irish,
I have been researching the surgery for almost a year. Both my dad and his sister both have it. I have gained weight since being married to the AH and having my daughter. When he stresses me out I turn to eating. I know it's not good to stress eat. It's just so hard sometimes.
