I lay in bed listening to my ah coughing and throwing up
getting very conjested due to drinking one beer after another
not including the liquor he drank. I her him all night with this
I just lay here and wonder is he going to smother. It scare me
Sometime . I hear him go to bed. He has made it so far.
I know it sounds awful but sometimes I think if he would pass
Would it be easier on him and I.The life he is living has nno joy no peace
Only alcohol and stuff.
Just need to vent..
He is ok he woke up fussing at the dog for barking
:-)

I know just how you feel. When its quiet and youre listening for the breath. When you hear none, you wonder if he took his last. You wait. Silently hoping its over. Feeling guilty. So far mine too is still breathing. Not much life after the breathing. Just breathing and drinking. Hugs.

I went thru that for sooo long. Then I didn't even get to be with him when he died...

I can so relate. The difference is Ive chosen to remove myself from the room when he gets sick or chooses to drink. I cannot stand hearing him throw up or get so deathly ill. It gives me so much anxiety and I too feel like hes going to kill over at any moment. Im not wishing for that at all but I am wondering how much longer I can hang on. Im opitimistic some days and others Im not. I just want to hold on to hope that someday soon he will wake up and realize that the bottle is not worth losing his life or family but today our battle continues.
