My situation is sad but I just had a giggle and thought I would share some humor is a not-so humorous situation. The title of this post is MY HUSBAND IS A DOG, and ladies, I mean that LITERALLY. My black lab Lou has taken the place of my husband for the past nine years. We have our own room, he sleeps with me every night and we even spoon.
Since I get zero affection and attention from my drunk, depressed, irritable husband, Lou showers me with love and because I am affectionate by nature, I hug and cuddle him like a teddy bear and he doesn't try to get away.
Here is the part that made me giggle. Sometimes Lou sleeps on his back, legs spread wide open. At night I cannot see where he is if he is not touching me so I reach out to him. I like to grab his little feet that are in the air and say "I got puppy feet." Well, last night I grabbed for his puppy feet and got a hand full of HIS DOGGIE BALLS. I jolted up and said aloud "Oh my God, I just grabbed my dog's balls. What's next, procreation?" and started to laugh at the absurdity that my life has become.
For those of you who have never got a handful of dog balls, I wouldn't recommend it. They are squishy but more solid than a human's. I SHOULD NOT KNOW THIS INFORMATION! Perhaps I should take one of those showers where I sit in the tub and rock back and forth. Or maybe Lou wishes for that shower since I violated him. He probably feels like a piece of meat. HAHA
I hope this made some of you laugh. We all need to laugh sometimes.
