My husband has snapped. Literally went crazy. The last 2 weeks have been hell. Fear, tears, fighting. He has been getting drunk and using a mixture of "party drugs" with the alcohol. Is missing work. I also found evidence of him cheating.
The worst part? He told me it would be easier to murder me than to deal with a divorce / child support. He also pulled out a knife in front of me and our 18 month old son and threatened to kill himself.
He has been mentally abusing me for so long. Everything was my fault, I was never good enough, smart enough, pretty enough, wtc. He mocked and sneered at me that I had no friends (I do, or course, a small handful that I trust with my life, but be thinks that your need to have many) and that I only have my siblings. Well.... last night I decided I was out due to his insanity. I reached out to my siblings and this morning...
All FOUR of them called out from work and showed up in the morning. They had a uhaul ready, we had a police escort to keep me safe, they provided me with legal info so I know how to file for a restraining order, and within a couple hours me and baby were safe and sound in a different state at my parents house. My parents had no clue what was happening (I didn't know today would happen either!) they took us in without a second of hesitation, and my youngest brother who is getting married in 2 weeks gave me and baby his room and is camping on a blowup mattress in the living room until the wedding. My older sister is taking me to court and welfare in the morning, my younger sister is helping me with a job opportunity, and my other brother paid 2000 to break my apartment lease.
All I have is my siblings? He thought that he was insulting me like I can't make friends because I'm so used to only family. Well the joke is on him. These four amazing siblings, my guardian angels saved mine and baby's life today. They swooped in the second I said I AM DONE WITH THIS MAN. They had been patiently waiting until I made the decision, knowing if they rushed me I would doubt and waver in my decision. Now, I have never been more certain of anything in my life.
We stood in a circle, all 5 of us, and my youngest sister snapped a photo of all our feet. I posted it, and in the center I added the words...
