I spent the last 7 months doing all I can to make sure he has all he needs. Abandoning my own needs and desires. My house has been a wreck due to he and his friend who lives with us and no matter what I say it's the friends fault or my own fault. He didn't make it to work a few days ago because he drank until 2 hours before he had to be in the next day and I had a discussion with him and he said he was going to stop drinking. He did it for two days then one drink and then two then tonight he had four in 15 minutes while I was on my way to get him. I'm typically a social drinker and he knows I spend about 4 hours of my day making his life easier. I work until 7 and that's after making sure my child makes it to a sitter first thing in the morning. Usually 8 or 9 and then I sit and wait after work for him to get off at 1040 to 11 so I can drive him home. He stays up until all hours of the night drinking and continues to wake me up and I still make it to my own obligations. But he can't see my frustrations. If he needs to be somewhere at 7am and I'm mad because I didn't sleep or I had to wake him up that's ok, but if he wakes me up and I have to get him on my day off and I get angry he REFUSES to get in the car with me. I feel like it's because he wants an excuse to drink more. I left him at the bar over an hour ago and as I left he told his friends that's the woman I love. I made a point to let him know I'm tired and had three drinks and if he loves me he'd act like it instead of being an asshole and letting me leave alone after all I had given up to be there in the first place. Am I crazy? Should I give up? When he's sober he's incredible. When he's been drinking he's absolutely horrid. HELP!
