Oh. For. The. Love. Of. God!

Prince Charming has a stomach bug. ( does not work, on disability for back issues.... 3& 1/2 weeks alcohol free, but on opiates for deterioration of spine with sciatica ) I have been working hard to stay out of his drama and just work on my own codependent issues. Things have been calmer between us, since I’ve come to the point where I don’t pay any attention to how he handles his pills. 

I am an exhausted school nurse, have been sick for a month,only able to have taken one sick day, in the middle of a flu epidemic. My office was full of sick children and I spent the day trying to convince parents to please pick up their sick fever ridden children ( yes! Really! ) And I get a phone call from the Prince telling me he threw up and had the chills. Him:I’m f***ed up I dont know what’s wrong with me.       Me: sounds like a stomach virus.    Him: I have chills me: do you have a fever? Him: idk I could only make the thermometer go up to 97.  Me: then you don’t have a fever. Him: you have to walk the dogs, I can’t do it......  Me: I’m busy I’ll call you later.

i get home a few hours later to the drama that is my husband with a virus. Now I understand that nausea and vomiting is NOT fun, this was ridiculous.  I make him herbal tea with honey, takes two or three sips. I bring him Pepsi, two or three sips. But he trying to take his pain pills and keeps puking them up. After three hours my sympathy and compassion were gone. Criticized me for cooking up some chicken thighs for the dogs since we were out of dog food. DONE! Netflix on iPad with headphones until he went back to bed.          

So this morning, im sick at work and he is home in bed.  Ugh.
