so sobriety only lasted 2 weeks! I couldn't believe he wasn't having any withdrawls over the 2 weeks not drinking and now i'm wondering if he was completly honest with me.... I jnow for a fact that he has drank every day since Friday and he only admits to drinking saturday since he drank so much that he was un able to hide the fact that he was stupid drunk! His excuse was he worked hard that day cutting his moms grass. We'll I would believe that if we hadn't just went there 3 weeks ago and did the major cleaning and all he had to do was ride around her yard on a riding lawn mower, so to me thats not a good enough excuse.... So going to dinner like I had planned since he had showed signs of trying and behaving himself fell. Why would I want to go to dinner when he's already had 2 pints and stumbling around??? He just doesn't get it. Monday night clearly he was drinking but insisted he wasn't this is acually the first time he's lied about it, yes he's always tried to hide the evidence but when asked he would admit to it. Does he think i'm that stupid? Apparently he does, since i've fallen for his excuses for so many years and just gave in to keep the peace. Not anymore! I don't care if he leaves I wish he would. But I know this will never happen. I need my home to raise my granddaughters but I will not allow him to suck me back in. I will get through this and one day I will be free. Just have to keep moving forward and working hard on getting where I need to be. These girls are teens now and will be grown before I know it and nothing will stop me then! 

I wanna thank each of you for the support wish I had this group years ago to give me strenght and knowledge that I recieve from others stories. Its such a lonely life to live! I pray everyday for all of you to find peace and happiness and help you in your journey with or without your alcoholic partner... And I pray they will wake up and realize just what harm they're doing to the ones that love them the most!
