I moved in a new place about a week ago and lawyer taking action. I guess i had enough. I did my crying, got myself straight and started handling my business. My boys are happy. Im sleeping through the night and not worried all the time. Im robbing Peter to pay Paul, but it's worth it!

Way to go! It can only get better for you. Last weekend was the last straw for me, i've been staying with my daughter for the past 4 nights and blocked him from texting me. The most peace i've had in a long time!

It's pretty sad when we're peaceful without them around. Smh....

Jax, good for you. The tears will come at times, but they will be less and less as time passes and you are living in peace! Slowly you will rebuild yourself- glad your boys are doing well.

Good for you! Stay strong! I know it’s hard, but things will get better! You’ve done what I think we’ve all wanted to do. Take back your life and your happiness!

So happy for you! How old are your boys? Will they have to ever go stay with your ex? Just curious because I have two children and that’s really what holds me back most about leaving my AH. I never want them to have to go stay with him unsupervised. Enjoy your peace!! It is well deserved I’m sure!

No. My oldest is not his child. We have a 17 year old son together. He will be 18 next month. Have strong evidence for reasons why supervised visitation is required. We have court this Thursday. I already got word he's contesting divorce. He want it dismissed. It has nothing to do with working marriage out. He's a jerk and drag it out. He watched me walk away with no fight. Even said he wanted divorce. I have not heard from him since I left. His daughter told me she was instructed not to speak to me anymore ( she still do). Its a part of his sick mind games.

good luck, jax. he'll fight to the bitter end because that's what they do, they make us miserable. if only he would just amicably severe ties so you could move on with your life, but he doesn't want you to be happy. fingers crossed you can walk out of this with your head held high, but fight for what you need to. i would drag my AHs dirty laundry out and air it all over the place if he gave me a hard time on anything.
jaxbfalling
Learningpatience I tried not to air his dirty laundry, but i did the day before court. He has backed off and agreed to my terms. All is well now!

Jax, so happy to hear that. We do what we have to do. Glad things are going in your favor. Happy holidays!
