After reaching the lowest low in this journey I've been in with my AH husband a week ago, I've begun to see him face his demons over that last 5 days. He went to AA last week, he wrote me a long email about his desire to be clean and how he couldn't fathom life without me, his "North Star". He has been honest about how frequently he'd been drinking (daily, which actually was news to me). He went back to the gym with me today, and it's been months since he's been there. I'm hoping we have finally taken a turn on the destructive path we've been on. I'm hoping to rewrite the ending to the story that I was composing in my mind a week ago. I'm hoping the tears will stop, and that I'll emotionally be well again. So at least I have hope, because a week ago I didn't. Love to all of you, my sisters.
It is hard. We have eachother to understand we can't change control or cure your loved one they have to find Recovery on their own and it's up to us to.decode if we want to ride that train. I'm glad he is saying he wants to get better and wants Recovery I hope he has the plans and steps in.place to keep sobriety
