How's everyone doing? It's been quiet on this board for a bit. Everyone hanging in there? I predicted what a mess my AH would be like this long Labor Day weekend and I was right. He drank for 3 solid days and nights. It's so hard to like someone when you don't like what they're doing. I love my husband, but despise what he does. My fondness and respect for him lessens each day. I hate that, I hate alcoholism. Anyway, I hope everyone is hanging in there!

Thanks for checking in on all of us! I'm sorry you had a rough long weekend- I completely get anticipating these types of things- the "events" that will cause a spike in drinking. I also get loving someone but not liking what they are doing.

Things are going okay here- sadly, my husband did have a slip at the end of July which was SO HARD after more than 2 years sober. But he seems to be back on track now thankfully.
