The real ass kicker is his timing for creating emotional chaos. He left this time 1 week before I was to take my clinical licensing test, of which I went to school for 8 years for my degree, accumulated 3200 hours of clinical experience, passed the first test, and failed this one...purposeful, maybe.
You can do this with or without him. Don't give him credit for such things when honestly, since he is an addict, it's probably the furthest thing from his mind if its not about the next drink.
You have all the training. You can do this, you CAN!
