It is hard for me to admit that my husband is an alcoholic. His mood swings are becoming worst and I can no longer deny the harsh reality. He used to boast about be a functional alcoholic, but now his mood swings are no longer functional within the household.
Welcome.. you have come to the right place . We are all dealing with this mess.
I can not hardly enjoy a good day because I know at any minute it will change
He will start fussing and then he gets upset because I get upset.. to my am amazement
He can not figure out why I would be so upset. Today I just had to leave ..all day no phone calls or
Anything ..I needed my space to be with the ones that love me. He is so in the dark
He has no idea what he has done to our marriage
Welcome tee100 - I'm always so amazed at how many of us there are! It helps knowing there are others who understand what you are going through. You are not alone! Sending you hugs!
Thanks for all of the supportive advice. It is truly encouraging. Knowing that I am not the only one living in this twilight zone helps. It is funny, today we had a good day, it could change at any moment.
Wow how well do we know this roller coaster. These harsh ups and downs. Just when you think all is good, he goes and does a stupid thing to jeapordize us, our kids, our reputation. Then we are all upset for a few days until the stress and emotions lower themselves, and then boom out of no where another episode! I realized that the bad days started to outnumber the good ones. That is when I realized, enough is enough!
