Mine sleeps all the time too. Even on his days off work..like today..he went to bed at 7 or 8 lady night got up at 7 this morning ..starts drinking as soon ad he gets up ate something an hour or so later..then took an hour nap..finally got in shower around 11..was back a sleep by 1:00 for an hour or do..its about all he f
Does..sleep and drink. He went to bed at 8 tonight. He only sleeps a couple hours at a time so he doesn't sleep soundly. I too am sick of it..as the years have passed he had gotten more lazy..he basically works, drinks and sleeps..that's it oh and complains a lot.

My hubby slept an average of 14 hours a day when he wasn't working. He still does on the weekends now that he works. During the week, he gets up at 5:00 a.m., and he refuses to do anything that will keep him from going to bed between 7:30 and 8:00 - such as attend one of the kids' events or pick them up if they're at an event. Weekends he's usually up now by 6:30 - sometimes earlier. And he's usually back in bed somewhere between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m., depending on how drunk he is. And he'll sleep for about 4 hrs. By the time he gets up, since it's after 5:00, it's past quitting time and any work can't be done. It's time to rest. So he may stay up watching TV for another 2 or 3 hrs and then back to bed. Any of the outside chores can be taken care of by myself or the kids. Once in a while he will help, but it's rare.

Yes..mine does very very little..he did dishes today..then had to nap..must of been exhausting doing those dishes..lol. that's all he did all day..well and drink and sleep. He works tomorrow..I am so looking forward to the peace while he is gone. Just want to add that I don't love him anymore..but I do feel saddened by what he has done and is still doing to himself..its difficult to watch someone waste what could of been a good life for beer. Just makes me sick. I see him as weak. Pathetic

This part of it all sucks. It sounds very familiar. My ah has been out of rehab and clean for 5 months now. :). I wish I could tell you all that it gets better. But I'm not sure when. He still has yet to sleep more than 2 hours at a time. At night he said he may sleep for 2-3 hours. He went to the dr and got some sleeping medicine now. I keep praying that it does. We can never give up hope. :)
