Fear Not, My Dear Friend
On Family And Friends You Can Depend
Our Love Will Surround And Embrace You
A Guiding Light To See You Through
As Sure As The Rising Sun
Our Hearts Are United As One
Courage, Strength And Faith Are Key
For All Around Us It Is God’s Love That We See
Know That His Guidance Will Never Fail
And In His Arms You Will Someday Sail
But For Today We Shed Not A Tear
For That Day Is Nowhere Near
Fear Not, My Dear Friend
Angels To Watch Over You He Will Send
And As Sure As The Sun Will Rise Tomorrow
A Long And Happy Life You Will Know
Hold Tight To The Circle Of Love
Gentle Hugs And Soft Words From The Heavens Above...
Love Ya, ~Barbara

The secret of true happiness***
is remembering who you are.
Knowing you are a child of God***
and you are Forever Young.
Whenever you feel all alone***
just sing this little song.
Remember deep down in your soul***
you’ll be Forever Young.
No matter what remember***
you are a child of God.
You know life is forever***
and you are Forever Young.
Keep remembering life’s forever***
you’ll feel peace & joy & Love.
You will find true happiness***
and you’ll be Forever Young.
***Luv u Sweetie***
Creator of all that we are
Bestow upon this one You Love
Your touch of healing
Your presence of peace
Your loving comfort
Amen
I said a prayer for you today
That all your pain would fade away.
That you would feel His love for you
Surround your soul your whole day through.
I asked the Lord to give you peace
And that your worries would decrease.
I asked for joy and laughter too
And that He'd make your gray skies blue.
I prayed that if you just can’t cope
That He would shower you with hope.
I prayed He’d take away your fears
And that He’d wipe away your tears.
I prayed and asked that you would feel
His gentle hand reach down and heal.
And when you feel down and depressed
I asked the Lord to give you rest.
He knows you may not understand
But He has all of your days planned.
He’ll never leave you this is true
He’s with you every moment through.
We all do struggle in our life
Trials we face that brings us strife.
Just lean on God and others now
And you’ll get through it all somehow.
You see I love you very much
And I pray you feel God’s gentle touch.
Surround your heart and soul each day
As you keep trusting in His way.
I said a prayer down on my knee
That your pain and worries would just flee.
I said a prayer for you today
And everyday for you I’ll pray.

I had some complications so that made it a lot worse, I'm sure. I took a bad turn late the night of my surgery and my fever spiked to 104 and my blood oxygen dropped to near deadly low levels, so I can't do anything simply, I guess.. (grins) That all got brought under control within about 8 hours from what I was told. I don't remember much of the first few days, just knew it hurt so badly every time I could remember.
The surgeon had tried to do laprascopic surgery, and after he got in there, the area (about 2 feet of the colon) was SO bad they had to open me completely up to safely remove the area. The surgeon said it was literally falling apart in pieces..They knew it was bad, but not how bad. So, they had to cut me from top of tummy to the belly button and I'm full of staples still. The GOOD news was that the rest of the colon looked good they said, so when they try to do the reversal surgery on me to remove my ostomy bag, that will help. I still have Crohns, of course, and we will restart the meds to try to protect the rest of my colon from this kind of damage within a few months, depending on how I do.
I have a home health nurse that will keep coming for awhile to help me adjust to the bag and see how I'm doing and that helps too.
Thank you all SO much for your thoughts and prayers and well...just caring. When I came on here and read all the wonderful comments today..It brought tears to my eyes...
Love ALL of you and SO happy to be back in my 'second home' ..DS.
Thanks to Barb and Lori for keeping all of you updated..They were beyond wonderful. My sis loved them both.. Said she understood now why I loved DS so much.
