Crazy Rubber Duckie Day!!!!!

Music, and counting my blessings, along with my sweet puppy kisses.

I practice meditation and mindfulness. This has helped me tremendously to cope with whatever comes my way.

OH thank you for those words sanibel - I need to remember how valuable meditation was in my life and begin again.

Laugh, treadmill, gardening, comedy movie, loves from friends and family,,,,,most of all Carol Burnett Show with Harvey Korman, Tim Conway dentist routine!! I have it on video on my computer, whenever I'm down I play it and laugh till I cry.............perks me up everytime!!!

walking, hubbie, laughter, playing the ukulele, sewing, my doggies, classic movies, visiting friends!

When I am down in the dumps and I need a lift I have Crazy Rubber Duckie
Day. On Crazy Rubber Duckie Day the Crazy Rubber Duckie Lady (That would be me) hands out, tosses, gives away (what ever the occation calls for)Rubber Duckies. I have a multitude of rubber Duckies. I have Christmas ones, Valentine ones, St. Patricks ones, Halloween ones, Thanksgiving ones. There are kitty rubber duckies and puppy rubber duckies, Nurse rubber duckies and Construction worker rubber duckies. Anything you can think of I bet I can find a rubber duckie too fit.

Rubber duckies never fail to make people laugh, chortle, giggle or chuckle. But Rubber duckies always but always make you smile. When you smile, I smile and then someone else smile and I smile and the next thing I know I am no longer down in the dumps. The most fanastic thing about my Crazy Rubber Ducky Day is I get to choose when it is. However National Rubber Ducky Day is Jan 13, 2013.

Oh Elsie you've made someone smile just thinking about it, Me. Our local pub has a duck race once a year. The pub is right next to a river so they let a whole load of rubber ducks loose and catch them when they get to the bridge and the one who picks the number of the one who wins gets a prize. The money from it goes to charity it is so much fun especially watching them get caught in the reeds or coming in sideways. I will remember that date Elsie thanks for cheering me up.

I always feel much better after a drive in the country with the windows down and the radio blaring. Depending on the mood the radio may be playing Oldies, Rock N Roll or Country. Very calming.

When I need my spirit lifted I head down the street to my granddaughters house and announce "Grammy needs kisses and hugs"....... I always get plenty ! :-)
