I was going to say the moisture that is inside the kernel... it expands after reaching a temperture during the heating process a heated and "explodes" the kernel w/ pressure turning the cooked kernel inside out.

CBS Sunday Morning just now did a segment about popcorn. Selling popcorn at movies began after Great Depression. Was especially popular for children movies. Moviehouses still earn more on popcrn, than the actual movies. A $5 bucket of popcorn costs them 50 cents to make, $4.50 profit.

    My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper?
