Eating At The Computer

Do you find your keys sticking after awhile? Do you eat at your computer? I do :)

Ok - so I got this little vacuum kit that is supposed to attach to the vacuum for the very purpose of cleaning computer keys - it was "free" with another purchase of one of those irresistable items they offer in the middle of the night on TV. All I had to pay for was shipping and handling - which is usually more than the product itself.

Ok - this little vacuum gadget is defective - it doesn't work - no suction whatsoever.

The moral of this story - absolutely NOTHING is EVER free. :) or...... don't ever buy anything advertised on TV - I have a ton of stores about products purchased from TV that don't work but that doesn't seem to stop me.

Do you buy stuff from TV?

No I dont, well I get some things that are noticed via ads!!!! no shopping channels.

I do eat at my computer though :) and I have literally just sprayed and dusted it ..... It does feel better when it's done - stick to the old duster :)) sorry about your non-suction vacuum, stop buying lol xx

No I dont get things from ads on TV, but i do eat at my computer, when i am buying useless things online..lol.I was gonna say Linda that sucks about your vacuum, but then realized the awful pun, so sorry. XXX

I used to eat when I waa using my main computer but I have a laptop that I use now that I have on the arm of the sofa so the food and computer rarely meet as such but I do remember having the same problem with my PC.
I don't shop from the T.V. unless I can check it out on a web site and find some more details and then see if I am able to order it from other places too so by then I tend to decide I don't need it, it's a good way for someone with ADD to resist the impulse to buy something that looks really cool.

I sometimes eat at the computer and once in a while will unscrew the back of the keyboard and clean it out, always find some biscuit crumbs there.

Nope. Usually the things that are for sale on the informercials wind up at Walmart. I can take it back there if it doesn't work. Yes, I do eat at my computer. I wipe the keyboard off with a antibacterial wipe every few days and compressed air blows the crumbs out.

Yes I do eat at my computer. No, I do not purchase from ads and infomercials (burned too many times--like your vaccum LJ). Yes, I buy from QVC or HSN.
