Asking for prayer once again.

If you do not mind praying for pets, I would ask that you would please pray for our Chauncey Ray. (Kitty Cat). We just lost his brother, The Train Wreck. And now he is in the hospital and will remain there for 2 or 3 more days. He has a blockage and is unable to urinate on his own. They have him on a catheter, IV fluids, pain meds and tranquilizers. Poor Baby boy. When the vet called tonight she said they may have to sedate him again in the AM and do another procedure to remove some more of the blockage. She also said his name fits him as he reminds her of a gentleman. He has been very cooperative and very sweet and talks to them like he is tying to tell them what is wrong. He is rapidly becoming a hospital favorite.

This little guy is Dennis's buddy. Some of you know that Dennis is in ill health and it would be very hard on him if we were to lose this little guy (ok, he isn't so little he weighs 15 pounds.)

So thank you so much.

Our fur babies are so precious, you have my prayers Elsie. Poor baby, I hope Chauncey Ray can get past all this and come home to his family. I'm sorry about sweet Train Wreck.

Thank You for the prayers....
As of 7 AM the blockage appeared to be gone. At the moment he seems to be incontinent, But Dr. thinks that will go away once the pain does. There was just so much stress on those muscles. What upsets me most I had him into the vets the afternoon before and they didn't catch this. He went though a night of horrendous pain before I rushed him in yesterday morning. But anyway every thing looks good so far.

Continued prayers. I lost my fur boy The Marshmallow in late March.

aww - you bet I'll pray for your little guy. I have lost a few animals in the past few years and the pain of those losses was unreal.

How sweet that he is becoming a hospital favorite - he must be quite a little love.

Glad to hear that Chauncey Ray is on the road to recovery. Cute names for both of your cats. Can I ask why the one was dubbed "The Train Wreck"? I will include CR in my prayers tonight.

@ Ladybug, The Train Wreck earned his name at about 4 months old. One day after cleaning up yet another disaster I told him I told him he was nothin" but a train Wreck and it stuck! He was always into things. Busy Busy busy. There was nothing that was off limits to this kitten. He would shred anything paper in Dennis's restroom. It could be in mine but not his. Candle holders, antique bowls, other pets all became toys. The dog was his own personal chew toy. He had been a part of our family for less than three hours (he was 6 weeks old) when we found him at the top of a six foot curio shelf. He has 3 antique dishes under his belt, countless rolls of toilet paper and paper towels. He has chewed on each and every one of our solid oat dining chairs, and anything made out of any kind of plastic. From Walmart bags to tie straps including water or soda bottles full or empty (he didn't care).

I miss him desperately and Chauncey is his litter mate. If something happens to him we would be devastated. Sorry I went on so long.

@ATGB am so sorry about your baby. It hurts so much!
