I would say my son can be but underneath he isn't really because he will do anything for anyone, just not me but then I am his mum, much of his is because of his ADD, things just don't occur to him but my daughter thinks so much about other people but then she is thinking about going into counselling at some point in her life, I think it depends on how you bring them up but living in society influences them and that you can't do much about. There just don't seem to be as many parents willing to bring up their children to respect other people these days and I find that really sad.
