I loaned a book out once a long time ago. When I got it back someone had used it for a coaster. There was a ring on the cover. I never loaned anything out again ! :-)

I don't like loaning things out. Sometimes it takes ages to get them back and I feel weird having to ask and ask, and other things have come back broken, or not at all..I only lend to my Mum and to my hubby's step mum because they are very trust worthy XXXXX

LOL, I am a glutton for punishment, I still loan things to people, actually very few times have they come back damaged or even turned up lost. Whats funny is………if they are kept too long I have forgotten I even loaned them out and when returned………big surprise and I say……. "so that is where it has been, I thought I lost it or something". Jeez, I'd forget my head if it weren't attached to my neck!!!!!! XXXXX

I usually have not had a problem One time I loaned a very expensive shirt to my girlfriend and she returned it to me with a hole in it. What surprised me was it did not even phase her that she gave it back to me damaged.
