Her husband. He's a jerk.

But I am sad for you too Laraine as it is hard to lose a best friend even if it is meant to be.

I think with my friend she lets her husband and one of her daughters control and manipulate her. She has a heart problem in that it beats unevenly sometimes, she has had to have her heart stopped and restarted twice, the second time her daughter went into labour 3 days after she came out of hospital and rather than consider leaving her two girls with her Mother in Law which was possible she still got my friend to walk up a big hill to pick them up from school. The 2nd op seemed to work but her last blood test came back low and this again is because her daughter keeps landing all 3 children including the baby on her. She loves them dearly and she loves her daughter too (my friend has 4 children altogether) who has gone through some difficult times, some unfortunately of her own making, so my friend doesn't like to say no but now she is just taking advantage of this. Her husband is a verbal bully but in a subtle way, he controls by manipulation for example even when she was told by the job centre while he was there that they would not sign her off to work because she could hardly walk because of her heart problem he still expected her to find a job and I am afraid of losing my friend for good because of these two people. Sorry kinda got on my soap box for a bit there.

Finding out that I had been betrayed by her - it was my sister and we don't talk anymore at all.

I have Family I Don't Talk to any more either because they refused to help me when I desperately needed it. Their loss....

She is too giving...some people take advantage of her because of it.

Angel, you and your friend are so lucky to have each other, long may your friendship endure. As for me I'm not sad about losing my best friend only sad that it happened. Now my only best friend is Jesus. He will never faile me.
