St Thomas a Beckett was buried at Canterbury Cathedral, that's all I know and that's because it is down the road, well 20 minute drive, from me, my daughter Graduated at Canterbury Cathedral it was really cool, the atmosphere was amazing.
I Didn't Know This, EITHER " !
Angel, I was so impressed with Canterbury Cathedral, especially the stained glass windows, the everlasting flame burning and the minute of silence at the 11th hour to remember those lost in war. Remember learning about it at school but it was only when I visited that I could imagine Thomas at prayer and then the surge of noise from the knights as they advanced to murder him - quite an experience for me.

I Didn't Know This Either " !!
At my daugter's Graduation they played 'Sprach Zarathustra' a really powerful piece of music and the acoustics were brilliant, there were trumpets and a huge drum and cymbals and it all reverberated beautifully around the building and it was like all those people buried there would have been listening too and I think would have approved.
