New Hampshire mostly. My grandparents lived there.

To my grandparents -every summer for 16 yr --bothsides -- 1 week with my mother's mother (sweet momma)
totally out in the country, in Hope Ark. (does Hope Ark. ring any bells) (Pres.Clinton - some of my family went to school with him) ----and then about 4 days with my dad's dad in the city of Shreveport Louisiana.

I can not imagine seeing my mother or dad only once a year.

Wisconsin & North Dakota to visit the grandparentals. I don't remember any big vacations on a regular basis. My parents did send us to summer camp just outside Yosmite twice, four weeks at a time and a blast.

Haven't been yet, but will be looking forward to a week near the coast real soon. cant wait.. only thing is what will the weather be doing, its crazy here in the UK at the moment XXX

I used to visit my Great Aunt and Uncle who lived on the Romney Marsh in the middle of nowhere, it was so peaceful. I would go for a week and then my sister would go the week after, went to my Aunt and Uncles once in the next town but we didn't have much money so that was it when I was a child.
With my own family we went to the South West of England, Cornwall, Devon etc.

Have you got something like a hurricane where you are Clay, it is so windy here that I nearly got blown through the town today and it's cold, it's mad. lol

We traveled everywhere our pickup and camper would take us.

...all by the time I was 17. I was very blessed to get to see so much as a kid. I am grateful all the time for the many traveling memories I had w/ my family.

My family would travel all over the states. We drove from Maine to Oregon in the summer of 1979. I've been to every state, except for Hawaii and Alaska.
