Is anyone going to watch the royal wedding?? I am!! I love these type of events!! I know they will have a long, happy, marriage because they are getting married on my wedding anniversary!!

I will be watching it, I have an advantage on many here, don't know where you live but I am in the UK so it will be on at a civilised hour.
Well you won't forget their Anniversary and the Wedding will be refreshed in your mind everytime you celebrate your anniversary.

angelglory, I live is the US (east coast). So I will be up early to watch the whole thing, even the pre wedding stuff.

You are going to be up all night then. I realised today that the whole thing starts at about 8.45 here so I am assuming seeing as someone said that 11am would be about 4am there then that will be about 2am, no point going to bed really. I am getting quite excited, the bunting is starting to appear here now, in the shops and on houses, must go get some to put on my house next week.

I'm only two hours ahead of the UK so will be able to watch it at a civilised hour - I missed Diane's wedding due to work but won't miss this one. Hubby has already been advised he will have to sacrifice his tv watching that day.

Well I should think so too, can't have him pinching the T.V. my daughter is really looking forward to it as well as me, not sure about my son though he doesn't seem to be bothered. It's good you are closer to our time zone, I know it varies widely depending on where you are, I have visions of millions of Americans pinning their eyes open with matchsticks so they can watch it. I watched Diana's Wedding and cried a lot too and probably will at this one too. They brought out the itinerary which is done down to the minute, for instance, the Queen will leave Buckingham Palace 2 minutes after Charles and um what's er name oh yes Camilla and were telling us where Kate is going to stay the night before the wedding so it's all building up now.

Just for anyone else wanting to know what bunting is it's a string of flags we put out on the houses, it's used at carnivals and fairs in various colours but will be Union Jack flags for the Wedding as for other Royal occasions, Royal Weddings, The Queen's Silver Jubilee etc I think it's one of the few times when we get patriotic except of course when the World Cup is on (soccer) and then many of the houses have huge England flags on them instead and the cars have England flags on their antennae, we are a crazy nation really. It's the only time we have street parties as well but sadly none near me for this wedding :-(
