Hi been on W.I.N.G.S. for about 3 years. I am a happy upbeat person and like to think in a positive manner with humor thrown into the mix.

Joining DS was the first time EVER I had joined a conversation site or group. I have a few forms of Dystonia, Barbara (bgoodwin44) and I became friends through our mutual Dystonia. She gave me an invitation to join the group, so here I am.

I found that as I joined other groups, I always gravitated back to W.I.N.G.S. to ease my feeling of having to deal with my illness and problems. My "GETAWAY" so to speak. I wanted to be encouraged and be an encouragement to others with kindness, empathy and truth. The group does that for me.

I am a 49 year old flower lover and have been on DS since the spring of 2013 .

I'm looking for honesty & spirituality.

I've been on DS about 3 1/2 years now. It's the first support group I've ever joined. I joined mainly for the Addison's support group. I have 4 autoimmune diseases, plus chronic migraines, plus a few other health problems. I come to WINGS to forget I'm sick and have fun, meet friends, and to support others when they need it.

I have been on DS for a bit over 4 years and with WINGS pretty much since the beginning. I do have a sense of humor and love to be here for others and that others are here for me. I am not one to post games or questions but I do enjoy them. When I do post it is usually for things that are close to my heart, like Chauncey Ray and or Dennis or other family members. Some times happy things...like when my Granddaughter got married...sometimes Sad things like when we lost our Train Wreck. Sometimes scary stuff like when a family member or pet are very sick and we could use some prayer. I also like to see posts from others asking for prayer or advice. I don't always make it here everyday as Dennis is very ill and some days I spend helping him. Other days he is fine and can deal on his own. And I tend to be verbose.

I joined DS in 2008/....I joined because I wanted to meet like minded people and people with disabilities who understood exactly what it was like to become sick.. I have a loving and supportive family , but they are all well and healthy, so I found a bond with people here who knew what I was goings through..I also had a few family issues and challenges regards raising other peoples children and the issues it throws up... I have met some lovely people here over the years.And have wonderful friends at DS.. I took over the running of Wings nearly four years ago.. about eight weeks after it was set up..and inherited all the lovely members here as friends..It gives me a huge sense of purpose to help those who are struggling or in need of prayers or just some tlc..

SALTY , we are the new girls on the block .

I have been here on DS and WINGS since Mar 2011. I like the questions where we learn things about each other here, and I am always happy to send thoughts and prayers when needed. I don't get on here as often as I would like to because I have a very active 2 year old.

Hi there, everyone! I joined DS in 2008 and became a member of WINGS in 2010. I was looking to meet people who shared the same medical issues. I've been blessed with many wonderful friendships on the site. My hope is that I can somehow offer a comforting word or brighten someone's day, much in the way that I've often had kindness shown to me.
