If I read the book I rarely watch the film as it doesn't often live up to my expectations and vice versa, if I have watched the film first I rarely read the book as I like to think up how the characters look. One of the few that I did watch was Lord of the Rings which I was pleasantly surprised by how well they portrayed a very long book (3 in 1 really), I read it a long time ago a few times and curiosity got the better of me lol

I am exactly the same Sharon, I was so disappointed with circle of friends and the lovely bones, if i have read a book and they make a film , i dont always watch it XXX

Book, because the books are always better, and I would rather hear the story the way the creator wanted it told, my favourite authors book was turned into a movie and they completely hashed it, the only thing the two had in common was the characters names!
