Just recently my mom gave me my grandmother's wedding ring! I wear it now w/ my my rings. I was very honored to have it.
I also have a book from my great grandfather called "The Chosen Word". It's like a bible but family births, deaths, etc are inside it. It also includes locks of great aunts' hair.. that I have never met.

I have tons of dishes and plates and bowls. But the most percious is my great Grandmother book of the Gospels. It is Mathew, Mark, Luke and John written in story form. I am told it was what she used for her Bible. It was given to her on her wedding day by her mother. That was in 1856. Her name was Lydia Jane.

I don't have anything really old, but do wear a rope chain that my father took off of his neck and put on me 2 days before he died. I have plenty of stuff that belonged to my parents cause I live in their old house, but nothing that goes back any further other than some old photos of my grandparents.

Yes, a handgun from the 1800's passed down for many generations. I know.. weird..but my dad wanted a boy..and I'm his only child.. He was 53 when I was born...

Jewelry..passed down through the family...

A very old 1800's sewing machine...sentimental..from my grandmother who I never got to know.

My favorite?? Oh..my that's hard.. I guess a plate from my grandmother that has the Lord's Prayer.. It's value..basically nothing.. BUT MY value for it..PRICELESS!!!

    My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
