Not really shy but I am not good at small talk with people I don't know very well, I can keep it up for a while then I like to hide away until I can cope again but I do love talking to people on a one to one basis or just a small group of good friends then I am well known for how much I can talk, just as an example my friends little girl (9yrs old) has nicknamed me chatterbox no 1. despite the fact she can out talk me most of the time lol

I used to be REALLY shy. My neighbors told me that when I was a little girl they were worried about me I was so shy - never talked.

Not anymore - AA helped me with that.

No, I can meet and talk to just about anyone or to a small group. I do have a problem speaking to a large group...don't know what that is.

I can talk to a large group Mom if I am doing a presentation or giving a talk it's just if I have to mingle with them, I have no idea sometimes what to say and my memory is awful so I forget people's names and any really important info I should know about them and then I feel bad as they always remember me so makes it worse lol

I didn't think I could ever stand up in front of a crowd and speak and when we had to do it at college a few years ago I freaked out and yet when I got up and did it I realised I quite enjoyed it, that really surprised me. I think it would also depend on what you mean by a large crowd, too many would be scary.

Kinda. I'm quiet, and will stay by myself, sometimes.

Not shy, just don't see the point of small talk with people I'm never going to meet again - I'm okay at parties as long as I know a few people but will never go up to a group of strangers and "mingle". But put me in a job where I deal with customers and I will very quickly learn their names and where their kids go to school, not because I have to but because I like to.
