I went to a small one near us when I was younger and was terrified at the thought of going on the Roller Coaster. They had 2, one was a smaller wooden one and the other was much bigger so I thought I would go on the smaller one first so it wouldn't be so scary. I managed that so thought I would try the bigger one, turned out the smaller one was much scarier. I don't like amusement parks the rides scare me too much but when we were on Holiday in Cornwall (UK) we found a small amusement park and in it were 2 recreations, one of a Victorian Street in London, you could walk past the old shops, the streets were cobbled and you could go inside the houses and it was set up so you could see how they lived.

The other one was a London Street during the Blitz in WWII, it was dark except for a coupld of shop windows that you could look in to see what sort of goods had been on sale at that time but the creepiest was the sirens wailing and the fact you could hear doodlebugs above your head and you half expected one to drop, my mum always said that as soon as the engine stopped that was the time to hope it was far enough away from you and I found myself thinking I hope the engine keeps going even though it wasn't real but it sure was creeepy.
