This community is dedicated to those who have lost a husband, wife, or partner. Anything is open for discussion here, with the hope that we can focus on grief, bereavement, life after loss, and continuing on after a great loss.
Remember the good times; cherish the memories, but live each day moving forward. Focus your thoughts on what is before you and how you are going to get there.

God's Word speaks to you clearly: "I have set before you life . . . now choose life" (Deuteronomy 30:19).
Yes, Lord, I do choose life. Amen.
I recieve daily emails from Griefshare this one really hit me, because that is what I keep doing is trying to go back and I can't none of us can.

Great post. I, too, receive the daily e-mails from Griefshare. It's really cool. I think they have a system based on where we are on the time aspect of our journey as my "Day 12" message today addresses my faith. This is part of what greeted me this morning:
"Lord, I'm going to walk this journey by faith because what I feel and see sure isn't helping. Amen."
The messages are inspiring. As for "religion", I am learning that there is a difference between "religion" and "faith". But that's a different subject. Take good care...Joe...:-)
