At first I thought it was women only!

The conference is for the widowed.

It soudns like a good idea. But, I think many newly widowed people just are not emotionally ready for something like this until later in the grief trip.

I wonder if it's geared for couselors and grief experts?

It is for the widowed ..Men & Women, it is a conference for us
not for grief experts or counselors, it was put together by our Widowed
Support Group Facilitator here in Tempe Arizona, I think it will benefit
the newly widowed greatly ....If nothing else to connect with fellow
Widows and Widowers.....spending a weekend with people that
"get it " .....

It was great to see you last night and finally get to talk with you briefly. I am really enjoying the group. Wish I could attend some of the activities you all do together.... usually the week-ends I am with my kids & grandkids.
If you ever do week day activities... please let me know.. OK?

I am hoping to attend this Widow Conference. Sounds super!!

That would be so sweet and I could fly there...but unfortunately I have travel plans soon courtesy of the govt. why don't some of ya guys and gals let me know how it goes. I bet it turns into a circus (Joking) haha.....actually I'm glad I have a solid excuse....I wouldnt know how to deal with that kind of thing lol. Good luck to everyone.
