Widows & Widowers Support Group
This community is dedicated to those who have lost a husband, wife, or partner. Anything is open for discussion here, with the hope that we can focus on grief, bereavement, life after loss, and continuing on after a great loss.

At four months out, I’m trying my best to stay focused on living a life that will honor my beloved husband Charles’ memory. He fought hard until the bitter end to spend as much time with me as possible. Now it’s my turn to not squander whatever precious time I have left on earth until we are rejoined in our everlasting heavenly home.
I’m sure Glenda would not want your children and grandchildren to suffer the horrific loss of both of you.
I hope you can find daily strength here and wherever else so that you may push on.
Hang in there ...
I know how you feel after I lost my husband just after our 30th wedding anniversary. You live one day at a time. You just find strength to keep going. In my case for my children. You just learn to cope. Each day is different, ups and downs and after nearly 5 years without my husband, I must say I have learnt to just somehow cope. I still have bad days and I know I always will. The tears are only under the surface. Keeping busy and staying strong. I hope you find a way to cope. We are not meant to be able to just move on, we can't. Our lives have changed forever.
