How you feel. One day ok the next day horrible!! All normal.
You have al lot on your plate....when do you start your time off?
I hope it's soon....you need it for YOU.
take care of yourself, see what tomorrow brings,
Peaceful goodnight,
Sandra
Remember that not everything needs to be done right away, either. You can always do your dishes by hand for a few days, and the stone is not going anywhere so the mason doesn't have to be done in a hurry. It was two years before I had Cliff's stone in place. Just trying to say don't make this harder on yourself unnecessarily. You are important in all of this, too!
Love and Big Hugs,
Martha
So sorry to hear your mother has had a bit of a relapse in her convalescence. Physical healing (as I'm learning) is much like the grief journey. It takes time, and we don't heal overnight. Some days are better than others. It's only been a few days since her surgery, so I can relate to her having a bit of extra pain. They are probably starting to reduce the pain meds, or her body is acclimating to them. I finally got off of mine entirely (by choice) as I felt the side effects weren't worth the benefit. Glad I did. I felt some extra pain for a little while, but it's become manageable now. I'm sure they'll get your mom's back under control soon.
Sorry to hear about the extra effort you'll have to put in with the dogs. They can be a handful. I have three large ones. Please be careful that they don't trip you getting down the stairs with your broken toe. BTW, I think you mentioned before that you weren't seeing the doc for this? All they would do is tape the broken one to another to keep it immobile. You might try this? (This is NOT medical advice, I am not a medical professional). LOL Always gotta cover ourselves, eh?
Stomp on your good foot and slam some doors!! It's okay to revert to childish behavior in times like this!!
Hugs, D
Take care of self!

Prop your foot up when you are able and a nice frozen bad of peas will help with swelling.
maryel....hope you are better today and let the small stuff go....eat on paper plates as Martha suggested. The stone will get engraved when it does....I have let so much go around here it isn't even funny, and you know what, I am ok with all of it.
