I have my husband's ashes on a table in the living room, where they will stay until it's my turn..at that point, I want my ashes blended with his, and scattered along the beach where we met, and on the anniversary of when we met there.
Here is a thought and I have thought a lot about this. I have her urn and when I die I am going to put in my papers that I want to be buried in a plot (I don't want to be cremated) and then her urn will be put on top of my casket before they fill it in. Then we will have a stone with both of our names on it. I think that is best because if I don't bury her urn when I die my kids will get it and then when they die their kids will get it. How many decades will go by before her urn ends up in some closet and people will say "who was that lady"? I want her ashes buried with a stone for everyone to see 60 years from now her name. That's what I would do if I were you, get a place with a permanent plague so Craig's name will be there 100 years from now. Just my opinion, just throwing that out
