Michele..... I truly believe they were signs. We no doubt like others on this unwanting journey experience things that we would never thought when our loved ones were with us.

I was listening to a program this morning, I felt a peace that I had not felt since losing Larry. The person had talked about a mother that had lost her son & she was asking for a sign from him & he said "mom just look at a picture." when I heard that it was like, oh my I have pictures all over the house now & before I never did because I told someone that Larry was here & for me I didn't need pictures.
The person talking said the picture of your loved one shows that he or she is here watching us, even though physical they are not.

If may also share. After Larry was gone, I was over visiting his mother and we were talking about our favorite birds & for the life of me, I couldn't remember the name of my favorite. I went home & dug out the bird book to look & underneath in an envelope was my favorite pictures of us over the years... I had forgotten where they were..... By the way it was a Chicka-adee ...

I do believe we get signs. What they mean I don't know. Butterflies seem to be common. My wife had glow in the dark butterflies on her wall. After reading comments, I went to her room. Her butterflies still glow in the dark.

People say a cardinal is a sign of a departed loved one.
The week Norb passed away I saw two cardinals.
Ever since last year I've looked for them, but didn't see them again.
A few weeks ago I went to close the window, and there were two cardinals sitting on the fence! They sat there for the longest time before flying into the trees. I cried and cried! I was crying because
I believe it was a sign.

I know that some think it's" crazy thinking" to believe in signs. I don't much care what others think, everyone has their own opinions and I'm no different. No one can tell me that what I feel in my soul isn't real, I am proud to say yes, I believe in those things. I've just had too many experiences to feel otherwise. I don't go looking for signs, but I know when I see one. It's seldom for me to have the experience and I cherish it when I do. Hugs to you !!

There are definitely signs. We have to open our hearts to them. Some choose to call them coincidences. It is up to our heart to believe what we want.

The one dream I had, was just over a year ago and the white butterflies...was the very 1st anniversary of Ben's passing.
I actually woke up in the END of my dream....BUT...the butterfly thing..Mm!! the Very Split Second those two white butterflies danced around me...no thought just INSTANT KNOWING....then I thought, " I must be Crazy!!!" Rational mind is now wondering why 2 butterflies?
I know I did find comfort and peace with my dream...Butterflies...Mmm
Still wondering about!!!!!
Whatever they are, we have all been comforted, by our experiences and that's a gift.

I had a butterfly dream a few years back, before Don got sick. I was in a room with folding chairs in a circle. Jesus was in one of the chairs, and my mom in one and the rest I couldn't see, but I think it was all family. We were talking and butterflies came in and flew all around us, and one landed on my nose. I crossed my eyes trying to see it and the room erupted in laughter. Jesus threw his head back as He laughed and my mom seemed so young and precious. I'll never forget that dream. I know I got off track of the subject of signs, but I just had to share. I believe they were signs.....I had received a few and every now and then they still come..sending you a bear hug this morning!!

I truly believe that our loved ones come in many ways. It was Mike's birthday and I was with a friend in a car coming back from a near by town and the song that I had played at the graveside came on the radio. I was crying and talking to him telling him how much I missed him. when I looked up through the windshield the exact truck he drove for work passed us. I believe it was his way of saying I'm here and always will be. I have heard so many people talk about signs and the things you saw were your love one coming to say hi and let you know he's with you. Definitely signs..I've had many..some bold, some subtle

I really think if you are open to them, you will see them. My husband loved birds, and when they wake me in the morning, I think of him. My daughter and grandson had a dragon fly, pestering them at a ball game. My grandson was talking "smack" to it and my daughter told him, it could be his friend that died a couple of months ago, and that's exactly the way he would have talked to him. When he left, the dragon fly lit on my daughter's toe. She wants to get a tattoo of one in memory of her dad.

I think they are all around us, we just have to be aware.

It was our anniversary today , July 19. I went to the cemetery and wept and prayed and when I opened my eyes there was a golden coloured dragonfly sitting in front of me . I believe you had signs just as I believe.

Yesterday my 2 great grand children spent the day with me. We went in the front yard, and dozens of Butterflies were circling around us. Different colors. Eben, the 6 year old said, meemaw, granddaddy is saying HI to us, Haylee the 7 1/2 year old said now, I have angel kisses all over my face. They were fluttering all around us. It was beautiful. Sandee
