Hey everyone,
andrew and i used to love going to Costco or Sams club. We would cruise the aisles and he would throw the dumbest stuff into the cart. It was a happy occasion. The first time i went to Costco after his death, it was an experience that put my solitude right in my face. Costco is for couples, families, people who need bulk stuff. It's a reminder of what i no longer have. It has turned my "we" experience into an "I" experience. I now have to ask myself, "do i need 24 rolls of toilet paper", do I need 48 eggs, do i need 5lbs of olives".It made me very depressed and i stopped going. Flash forward to now. I went into Sams yesterday and I was ok with the fact that this store screams "i got people at home" because even though i dont, i still bought 24 rolls of toilet paper, bulk bottles of water and a 12 piece box of breakfast sandwiches. It's simply cheaper to buy bulk and eventually, i will use all of the above. So, bring on the gigantic bag of popcorn, i got this. Just wanted to share.
