Veterans Day birthday

Veterans Day would have been my husband 71st birthday and because the day before I attended his old bosses memorial service it suddenly made me reflect on his birthday....And him and how kind and easy going he was..

I also reflected on the fact I am now completely through with his sons that gave me a bad time I gave them the equipment to his small business just to getit over with after two yrs.
AND I realized once It was final a big weight seem to come off my shoulders I had not realized it still had some there.

BUt I still miss him and still miss having someone in my lfie to share the ups and the downs with. And just having someone to have a cup of coffee with....sigh After 2 yrs, 3 months 2 weeks that does not get better

I am sorry you feel down today. Tomorrow is 6 months that my husband has passed away and I have to go to the attorney to try to finish his estate matters. I get emotional doing those things. It is like wiping him off everything he had achieved for us. I too waiting for the weight to be lifted off my shoulders. Sending you hugs and well wishes.

We all work so hard to make our lives like we want them to be. Then fate enters and destroys our plans. Our soulmates die and we are left to deal with the aftermath. Part of that aftermath is dealing with step relatives. I'm so glad you are rid of them now and that the heavy weight on your shoulders is now gone.

I, too, miss my husband so very much. The house is quiet, my car when traveling is quiet. I can talk in both of those places but there is no one to hear. No one to hug me. No one to share joys and pain with. That will never change. Therefore, the sadness will always be with me. But the tears do stop, for the most part. I cry only once in awhile. Nicker, it would be so nice to have coffee with you!! Wish you were close. I'll think of you next time I have coffee. I know you care about me and I care about you.
