i will be taking my first vacation in a long time i will be going to las vegas i will be there on april 15 i will be there for over a week if anyone else has any plans on being there around the same time it would be nice to meet other people from this site .i will be staying at the tropicana just tell me know if you would like to get together

Being on vacation (just the word is a relief) is so nice - have a great time Scott. I get my mind off things - or focus on painful things in peace, depending on my moods. The idea of being alone in a different place is invigorating to me. I'm looking into more exotic vacations now, where you actually SEE things in this world - total escape!!! Have fun and enjoy. Have a wonderful time! As soon as we get everything settled here Chris (our youngest) and I are taking a slow roll down the Natchez trace...and coming back up through Clarksdale Mississippi and the "Crossroads" (49 and 61) to the Blues Museum and Festival...and to sprinkle some of Bill's ashes there. I know he would approve.

Sounds like you deserve a good vacation..I will be in Vegas around that time and would love to meet you....have a safe trip and i hope you enjoy getting away and experiencing different things....its time you had something good to look forward to

Have fun, it will be different without your spouse, but we have to force ourselves into a new normal.
I'm going to Vegas with my son and his family in May. It happens to be the same week as my 40th Anniversary would have been.
Win big Scott, and come back to tell us about it.

Went to Las Vegas last year for the first time. It was awesome! Have a good time, enjoy the shows and try not to give the casinos too much of your money.
